If you have an artsy or creative bent, you’re probably familiar with the joys of 3D printing pens. Available in several colors, 3D printing pens are used to create almost any design that comes to mind – on paper or even on some surfaces (in theory). But if you’ve never tried one, what’s it like to use a 3D printing pen? Are they really as fun as they look? .

- 3D printing pens are the new and hot tech on the block. They're small, easy to use, and require no prior knowledge of coding or modeling software. These pens are perfect for kids and adults alike who want to explore their creative side with little effort. I recently got my hands on one of these pens from XYZ printing and wanted to share my thoughts with you.
- I found it surprisingly simple to use, once you get the hang of it. The pen has a comfortable weight in your hand and is super responsive, so even if you have shaky fingers like me (adults can be just as excitable!), your creation will still come out looking great. The only thing that surprised me was how much plastic filament comes out at once- but again, once I got used to this aspect it wasn't too big of an issue.

As someone who has always loved arts and crafts, I was excited when I first heard about the release of the 3d printing pen. The pen is basically like having your own mini-sculpture studio in your home. You can create whatever you want and it will come to life right before your eyes. There are many ways to use this type of pen; some people use them for hobbies while others use them for their job.

- I can't tell you how many times I've heard 3D printing pens are just for kids! Well, that couldn't be any further from the truth. In fact, adults seem to be the fastest growing demographic of 3D printing pen users. Whether you're an architect or an artist, it seems like adults in all fields are starting to incorporate these types of pen into their work.
- One of my favorite hobbies is woodworking, and I decided to add a 3d printing pen into my arsenal of tools. So far, it's been one of my favorite purchases. It makes creating quick designs so easy that I find myself doingodling all over anything I have lying around. It truly does feel like magic!
- As you can see in these pictures, there are plenty of adult-friendly things you can create with a basic 3D printing pen.

Summary
3D printing pens are like magic in your hand, and they're really fun to use. You can create anything you imagine, but you have to think before you make it. My favorite thing I've made is this little mini castle that I turned into a little planter for my succulents. I'm still working on a lot of projects, so I can't share them all yet, but here are some pictures of what I've done so far.
